“好萊塢最著名的詐騙案之一”——“好萊塢詐騙女王”案件宣布由Apple拍成紀(jì)錄劇集。此事曾引發(fā)FBI和警方調(diào)查，和多家媒體、播客、影視作者的長期追查——2018年，媒體曝光有人偽造聲音的方式騙錢，作案范圍涉及全球，手段包括模仿多名美國影視媒體圈女高層的聲音，如鄧文迪、前索尼的艾米·帕斯卡爾、盧卡斯的凱瑟琳·肯尼迪、前二十世紀(jì)福斯的斯泰西·斯奈德、扎克·施奈德的妻子&制片搭檔黛博拉·施奈德等，用錄音去詐騙一些好萊塢影視從業(yè)人員，如化妝師、攝影師等，編造一些在印尼的電影項目，邀請他們?nèi)スぷ?，隨后提出必須先交錢付旅費，以騙取這筆錢財。而經(jīng)過調(diào)查，作案者被認(rèn)為可能并不是女子，而是男人，隨后，作案者身份被鎖定為在英國有關(guān)系的印度尼西亞男子HargobindPunjabiTahilramani，他有著長期此類行為。2020年12月，美國FBI和司法部宣布在曼徹斯特將Tahilramani逮捕。
